The International and interdisciplinary Congress «Contemporaneity, Awareness, Ethics, Psychotherapy» will take place in Zagreb, from 18th - 20th September 2015.

The idea for organizing the Congress originated with Lidija Pecotić, PhD, President of the Organizational Board. She was encouraged by thirty-years of working experience in the sphere of psychotherapy application starting from companies, education provided at psychotherapy training institutes and high-education institutions in the region, Europe and beyond, as well as in work with individuals and groups in different contexts.

Our wish is to present the content of participants’ responses to the already defined Congress theme, open a discussion platform, research and discover new ways of responsible responding to the challenges of contemporary society. Through the Congress experience, we intend to enhance change in the way phenomena in contemporary society are observed, with regard to the individual participants as well as the social environment they return to, and to inspire them in further professional growth and development through all types of lifelong learning: formal, non-formal and informal.

The Congress will consist of keynote lectures, lectures for smaller number of participants and workshops, all led by distinguished international lecturers and participants from different scientific and cultural fields as well as socially engaged contemporary artists. All the details of all participants are available at http://kongres.intronaut.org.

The Congress central venue is Europa Cinema intended for keynote lectures, while other activities will be held in Müller hall of  Europa Cinema and gallery spaces of the Museum of Broken Relationships, the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery, the Nova Gallery,  the Lotrščak Tower and the Zagreb Dance Center (ZPC).

The partners of the project are the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery, the Nova Gallery, the Lotrščak Tower and the Zagreb Dance Center (ZPC).

The Congress wouldn’t be possible without the help and support of the Gestalt Training Institutes from Belgrade (EAPTI-GSB), Malta (IEPTI-GPTIM) and Skopje (EAPTI-GIS), the Gestalt Training Centres from Sarajevo (Psihointegrum), Zadar (Psihika), Podgorica (PGUM) and Zagreb (Intronaut) and the work of both Organisational Board members Sandra Grubić and Tajana Pavić MA, and Professional Board members Lidija Pecotić, PhD, Emilija Stoimenova Canevska, PhD, Predrag Milosavljević, PhD, and Igor Grubić.
